A New Year- A New Theme

I love themes! Themes are a lot of fun. We use themes in our homeschool and our church uses themes as well. At the beginning of each year, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, introduces a new theme for the youth ages 12 to 18. This year's theme is:

Isn't this a beautiful theme? It's from the scripture verse 2 Nephi 31:20 in The Book of Mormon which reads:
Wherefore, ye must press forward with a steadfastness in Christ, having a perfect brightness of hope, and a love of God and of all men. Wherefore, if ye shall press forward, feasting upon the word of Christ, and endure to the end, behold, thus saith the Father: Ye shall have eternal life.

Scriptures make beautiful themes. Our homeschool theme this year also comes from scripture- this time from Doctrine & Covenants 88:118-119:
 And as all have not faith, seek ye diligently and teach one another words of wisdom; yea, seek ye out of the best books words of wisdom; seek learning, even by study and also by faith.
Organize yourselves; prepare every needful thing; and establish a house, even a house of prayer, a house of fasting, a house of faith, a house of learning, a house of glory, a house of order, a house of God;

Having a theme can help us focus on the things that matter most to us, such as developing a relationship with our Savior, Jesus Christ, and having a house (and a homeschool) of faith, learning and order. Do you use themes in your family? I'd love to hear other themes.
