YOU are invited to watch General Conference this weekend!
Whether you are a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, as I am, or you are of another faith, you are invited and welcome to watch General Conference this weekend. At General Conference, we will hear from our beloved prophet, Thomas S. Monson, and the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles as well as other selected speakers. We will hear beautiful music by the Mormon Tabernacle Choir.
I love General Conference! It's a time for spiritual nourishment. It's a time to listen carefully and feel the spirit whisper of the truthfulness of this Gospel. It's a time receive personal revelation if we are prepared to do so. It's to renew our faith and commitment to following our Savior, Jesus Christ.
This General Conference will be even more special as we might be introduced to some new apostles.
You may watch General Conference, broadcast and streamed live from the comfort of your own home. Times are on Mountain Daylight Time so adjust accordingly to your time zone. You can find the list of viewing times and options here. The general sessions are tomorrow, Saturday, October 3rd and Sunday, October 4th at 10am (MDT) and 2pm (MDT). If you missed the General Women's session, last Saturday, you may watch all of it (or parts of it as you wish) here. If you have never
watched General Conference before, this will give you a taste of what's to come this weekend.
If you are of another faith, this is a wonderful opportunity for you to learn what Mormons believe, directly from the source. It's also a time to hear from a living prophet and living apostles. I encourage you to watch at least one session and see what you think.
